10th House:
The Tenth House is the last and the most important Kendra or Angular house in Vedic Astrology. It is also an Upachaya House (house of growth), the last of the Artha Houses (material prosperity) and is known as the Karam Bhav that primarily deals with one’s career and profession in life. Both Sun and Saturn are the Karkas or the significators of this house.
This house represents the professional area of vocation, the interest in the line of work and the success derived from it is seen from here. It explains whether one will be in service as an employee or an employer. Power, ambition, professionalism, one’s approach to hard work, earning potential and position in society in regards to your social interaction and deeds are also connected here. The position of the house lord and the planets placed here decide whether the results would be favorable or not.
